TWEET! Timeout for the Lord
Not Sooner forgotten ...
The Senior Sooner finally had a decent day health-wise and got busy getting all of my machines cranking out freebies.
Freebies? Oh, you thought I was through with trying to bribe OU fans to cheer like a champion as provide the Sooners with a decided home field advantage. True, but these freebies instead are for Christ Jesus. Well, for my Sunday school class, that is, in His Name.
OU athletics, as you likely well know, are important to me. But those who've toured the home of the Senior Sooner, know a bust of Jesus oversees my work. More than I'm a product of the University of Oklahoma, I am who I am today because of God's guiding Holy Spirit Who has delightfully led me through one insane episode after another crazy task.
So since I handcraft numerous items to promote OU at game-day tables at Coaches Corner, I sure should do the same for the Lord.
I actually do try to let God order my crazy steps, so I'm making numerous items not just for class members for Easter, but for them to give to friends and family to celebrate Jesus' resurrection. Items include a jar opener that says "Get a grip with Jesus."
Each table also will offer keychains of jeweled crosses (via diamond painting), "Risen" buttons, bookmarks and refrigerator magnets.
Now having served the Lord as called, I'm free to complete designing and readying the Senior Sooner's non-football "uniform" for future personal appearances. Seen here, it will be electrifying from head to toe, lighting up my reporter's hat and tie as well as my shoes. Oh, and yes, the pants shine, too.
See y'all soon, health permitting.
